Hey guys. I have a little issue with my calendar that is getting really annoying.

So I click on an appointment in my Gmail on my desktop PC and set it in Calendar. For example, starting at 8:00am. Then I check on the Calendar on my Android phone and the appointment is there as it should, but it says the appointment is at 7:00am, instead on 8. Now I'm thinking this is due to daylight saving time changes that took effect last Sunday... but we don't change time here in Colombia even though it's in the same time zone as eastern time zone (which did change). My PC is set to the correct time and my phone is set to take time from the network, which again is correct.

How can I go about fixing this? :idontknow:

Yeah, I'm doing that soon enough and I'm sure it will fix most every problem I have. LOL

That is if I'm not late for my flight because my phone didn't give me the reminder on time. :wack:

one or both are using different time zones i'd check the pc and make sure it's set to the same time zone as the phone and not utc.

this link may help you. :- https://support.goog...wer/74417?hl=en

new link :- https://support.goog...r/2367918?hl=en

or use utc time on both devices with the correct +/- number of hrs for where you live probably means manually changing it everytime daylight saving time changes but should fix the problem i believe.

My unconventional solution...LET LOOSE! Create your own reality, live in your own bubble of belief, your space n your time, be enlightened n be one with the universe, AND let everyone else work around YOUR new world!

See! That was easy.

note: in my reality, I was a great deal of help but probably not in yours.

Okay, I think I got it set correctly now. That was a time zone setting on Google Calendar that was wrong. It was the only setting that I hadn't checked, that I didn't even know existed. You'd think it would take cues from the rest of your darn PC, but no. Google style!

Thanks for the help Terry! Not you, .aT, that new-age/hippie/astrology stuff just doesn't cut it for smart phones and computers. :wack:
