ok I have a problem I have a thumb drive that is 8Gigs

I have formatted it and I have two files that wont come off it

the file is called usb_driver.exe and a folder call My Pictures , there are no pics in that folder I will show a SS

ALSO THIS IS THE PATH ISNT GONIG TO for each of those items

C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /c start %CD%"usb_driver.exe"&start explorer /root,"%CD%My Pictures" & exit

C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /c start %CD%"usb_driver.exe"&start %CD%"usb_driver.exe" & exit

They're not files, they're shortcuts. Have you tried formating the long way, not "quick format"?

If that doesn't work, format in another file system, i.e.: exFAT instead of FAT32.

yes I have tried the full format in all formats I even deleted it off the Stick and it comes back lol

and yes I know there only shortcut but they will not delete no matter what I do lol

Could be that your drive is going bad. Bad sector of sorts.

Have you tried formatting it on another PC? Or a Mac?
