All the WUs I got overnight failed because of NAN errors. This had happened to me once during Chimp Challenge and again last night... I just realized that it only happens when working on 7660 WUs. They all just fail at a random completion percentage. Sometimes 9%, sometimes it goes up to 70%.

I hope it won't affect my quick return bonus 80% rate! :fear:

Been NANing the better part of the night again. Those 7660 just don't work. :bang:

May have to shut down the GPU for folding if they don't fix that before long, I'm just wasting power.

EDIT: Oh, no, wait! I completed one! A full 7660!... and failed only 3! :P

Yes, it's on the Nvidia GTX660, it's not even OC'ed. Not using beta flags, those are not beta units.

It's a bummer because all other WU work just fine. It's just these ones, as soon as the server begins serving them to me my GPU will flunk them all one after the other. I just wish I could avoid getting 'em. :bummed:

Man... I tried everything, my GPU just won't fold these! I underclocked my GPU by 50Mhz and it was fine for a while (failed one in 4), but last night failed them all back to back again. Maybe it's some sort of stability issue. I'm in the process of replacing the PSU. Maybe it's starting to fail... will know soon enough.

seems gpu folding is still hit or miss. odd they cant seem to get it sorted out like they have for smp wu's. too bad too as i have all these amd gpus and i cant bring myself to start them folding knowing they will drag my machines too such poor performance.

i spoke too soon, apparently this new core 17 stuff is working. i just read at ocf about it so im giving it a go for the weekend. project 7663 on a 7970 running stock clocks says avg ppd 91,000. set the cpu to smp 4 just to see how it works. this could be awesome.

Core 17 sounds like the holy grail of folding. I hope it works out as good as they say it is. Is it still beta?

I just fired it back up, Hopefully it sticks around this time. Would love to finally have my AMD Graphics card
be able to do some folding. Its produces so much less heat on my system then running smp as well.

Have it clocked at 1200mhz on the core, see if that holds stable.

It seems to be running much faster then before. Time to complete is less then 2 hours from start to finish.
Im at 6% and the client is showing estimated 128,100 ppd.
