Best optical sata DVD RW

My philips DVDR1628P1 is acting like a douche, so it seems I may as well jump onboard and get an internal optical drive that will last me a while. Internet is full of advice and options, but very little definitive answers.

What is my best bet.... bang for buck.... pow per pound...etc
Abit AN7..................................915p-m3
AMD Barton 3200XP................P4 640 3.2gb
1 GB crucual DDR...................1gb nanya ddr2 (2 x 512)
3 x samsung sata 250gb.........maxtor 300gb sata
1 x samsung sata 160gb
Gainward Bliss 7800GS..........ATIradeon x600pro
XP sp3.....................................XP MC sp3

sorry for the late reply.. most of the optical drives are close to the same and they are almost all cheap :evileyes:

I like the phillips also..
