Nice Score! Paul are you on air or water? Never mind went to your profile smile.gif You guys are starting to scare me a little water cooling, soldering on your motherboards, taking things apart......Saunders curls up in fetal position sucking thumb as he thinks of all that money going up in smoke..............suddenly a grin appears as he realizes there is no try only do or do not!

It is watercooling. Pretty hefty cooling system at that. 1/2 inch hose, high volume pump, good sized radiator. You could have alot of fun with that system of yours, looks sweet. Just watch your temps and keep them within range. Won't take long to hit the max range with just air cooling, especially with that quad. Take little steps and do alot of research. Love that striker, I want one, that usually means I'm gettin' one. I need a board, I'm having problems with both my evga and abit. angry.gif

Thanks Raymo! This chip clocks so much better than my e6700 did it's not funny, even ignoring the two extra cores it carries. Who says G0 is overrated when even a lousy OC'er like me can hit 4 GHz with one?

I got a better score by running in Vista??? This never used to happen with the Kentsfield. I think the CPU might have been throttling one core before as I saw it do this any time I was clocked above 4.7 GHz (and temps were nowhere near the point it should throttle).

8.47 seconds (QX9650 @ 4675 MHz)
