Lol, its hard to say dude. I think they are all different to be honest. When this one is done ill load u a Bigadv and see what it is.

If you were completeing a Bigadv work unit in 7 hours, you would be getting prolly close to 500K PPD.

It wont cook anything. Well, if anything gets cooked its not due to my error but the motherboards lol.
The dam Vdroop on these MSI boards are backwards, Vdroop is supposed to lower the voltage under load, this one
goes up, it raises .05v, CPUz is showing 1.504v but its actually set at 1.44v and thats the voltage it runs idle as well.

But as far as loosing hardware, i wouldnt mind loosing the board lol, problem is, im in no situation to get a new one, but
its all under warranty. lol

getting about 1990 points per wu on each smp 2 bigadv.. I have 3 running
Matches the output of one of my VGA cards.. although the card does a WU a little faster @ about 9~10 hours
I prefer this metheod because it still gives me 2 cores for whatever and overall the system stays a little cooler..

not exactly sure what you mean by 500000 parts, is that the same as steps on my linux rig? must be, anyway no ray you are not doing bigadv wu's.

you'll know when you've done one because you'll see a huge spike in points just like Cvs13. http://folding.extre...php?s=&u=362343

here's a link to all the wu's,
http://fah-web.stanf...u/psummary.html
just find the project number of the wu your doing then see what it is.
the bigadv wu's code is GRO-A5 and you'll notice are worth a lot more points standard 7k+.

my last one was project 6900, if finished by 6 day deadline worth 7164 points(is 250000 steps).
i finished it in under the 4 day deadline so got bonus points.
that 1 wu was worth 58,709 points and took about 2 1/2 days to complete folding @3.8ghz on my 920. -smp 8 -bigadv

the time it takes to complete a -bigadv wu varies from 2 1/2 days to nearly 4 days for me depending on the wu and what else i'm doing on my pc.

if i were you i'd be running 1 instance of smp only not 3. use -smp 7 -bigadv flag and see how you get on.

what's your oc and temps? from what i've read those 2600k cpu's fold at 4.7ghz at around 60c and get about 35k ppd easily.
i think i'd be folding at 4/4.2 ghz tho which i'd guess would get you about 30k ppd without adding on your gpu folding points.

my temps on my 920 on water at 3.8ghz are around 65/70c. and i av about 20/25k ppd.

Just noticed that 2 of my smps have WU's with 2000000 steps..

wierd... 1 hour and 10 minutes for each 1% on one SMP and 32 minutes on another SMP for each 1%
these boys must pay pretty good..
Im getting about 2000 points for the 500000 step WU's

seems the servers stopped giving me bigadv wu's at moment last 2 wu's i got were 6099's a3's(normal smp) worth 1588 points by final deadline.

1st got me 12,526 points and 2nd got me 11,993 points(took about 13hrs each) so even if your not getting bigadv wu's i think just by running 1 instance of -smp you would still score more than what you were getting running 3 just because of the extra bonus points.

now working on 7508 another normal a3 smp wu only worth 770 points(500000 steps) and looks like will finish in about 8 hrs.

1 hour and 10 minutes for each 1% on one SMP
not good news, at that rate it'll take close to 5 days to complete, in time for points but not under the 4 days for bonus points. to get any bonus points each 1% must average less than about 55 minutes to complete, so i'd think about stopping your other smp wu's and increase the cores for that one to get any bonus points worth mentioning.
