Looks like I FINALLY got into the single digit rank for our team. I have a feeling I'll be stuck at #7 for a WHILE!!! I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it). I spent the day at home drilling out broken bolts to replace the three coil packs and ignition module on my GTP. It wasn't the "best" Thanksgiving I've ever had, but next year will be better!! :-)

With the points you're putting out now, it won't be that long! ;)

Well done! GPU folding is nice, isn't it?

Terry, I did race (1/4 mile) back in the day. I had a pretty nice 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a somewhat built small block 400 Chevy motor in it. It was fun!! (The nitrous helped out a bit also). GTP = 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP model, 3800 engine with a Stage II Eaton supercharger on it (stock supercharger, with a smaller 'under-drive pulley', for a touch more horsepower). If you were searching GPT instead of GTP, that may have been part of the problem.

It looks like this.. It is the 4 door sedan. Mine doesn't have a sunroof.

Also dostov, I believe I've recruited an old high school buddy of mine. He runs an i7 with a boat-load of memory, and a 6xxx video card. He's a gamer. He said he is going to install F@H tomorrow. I already gave him all of my info. He said he is going to run it full blast during the day while he is at work (He is an audit manager for Jaguar/Land Rover in New York), and he said depending on how his rig runs, he will leave it on light/medium when he's at home. His computer is on 24/7, so that should help also. Have a great weekend!!! :-D

POWER!!!! that's what we like in a car. :fart:

very nice motor, i'm jealous now. :hysterical:

used to go watch the european drag racing finals every year at santapod, don't any more, now i'm just an armchair motor sport fan.

love anything with an engine in it, the faster the better far as i'm concerned.

always dreamed of breaking 200mph myself, can't see it happening tho, closest i've gotten is around 155mph.

look forward to your bump in ppd thanks to your mates help too.

It's cool that you could recruit another folder, Mark. Make sure he sets up his own folding account though, because in the long run what's fun is seeing your own points go up. ;)

Tell him to join the forums also, here he can get help with folding issues and general computing/gaming advice and discussions. :yup:

So I fired up the folding to warm it up a little. lol

Folding is a nice space heating application. For those months when you need to run a heater anyway, might as well fold! :yup:
