So I have this new setup and wondering how it should all work together.

Asus crosshair IV

AMD 1090T

G Skill Flare 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)

H50

Antec 1200

Corsair AX 1200

2X XFX 6970's

Is there anything you guys see that I might need to address? So far it is running pretty well and is in the forum wars Just want to make sure there's no conflicts or bottlenecks I may have missed.

Thanks

Darren

and your plans for this fine setup are?

very similiar to mine except cooling. if your planning on oc it then cooling will need some upgrading.

the H50 works well for normal clocks and a bit of turbo. but since your here and you asked.

And that's exactly why I asked. What would you suggest the H50 is the closest I have come to any real cooling other than air. I would like to go water ( real water) at some point but really just starting to read about how. honestly this is only my 3rd build so still a little leery with setting them up and definitely with oc'ing, but hope to change that.

spend a bit of time roaming the beast's cooling threads. in there you will find a ton of ideas . if i might suggest check out hokie and Raymo's threads for 2 of the cleanest and classiest builds . hokie has a thread with pics that make your eyeballs go wow.

i have 1 also but mine is a bit more exotic. it all depends on how you want to do it.

For watercooling its soooo easy after you do it. Its a pain drainin and fillng but waay worth it. Your 24/7 clocks will easily be 3.8-4ghz with real cooling.

I have been reading through the beast's threads and learning as I go. I may have to set one of my other setups.. up and play with water on one of those first at least it won't hurt as bad if i mess up :tnt:

There really shouldnt be any messups unless u have a faulty part or cracked a thread putting in the fittings....trust me you will enjoy it. The finished product is beautiful :)

I am simply leading twoards real water. Going to have to sit down when I have some time and figure out a parts list. How long do the pumps usually last. Also what are the better brands of water blocks for the cpu and gpu I should be looking at. Any advice greatly appreciated

Ok so this is my current rig up and running for the last two weeks. With the exception of a dead mobo which had to be RMA'a all went well. No well I guess I;m going to have to go buy some water stuff. Let me know how the wiring looks this is my third build and really the first that I have even tried to manage the wiring.

You want atleast an mcr320 radiator, give the apogee XTL a try...for the price its good. Pump i say go for an mcp355 with a reservoir top to save space
