Still wont let me do it. Maybe ill just install 7 again anyways.
As far as the Vantage thing goes, you can download it for free but you can only use it like 1 time lol.
Be back in a little bit with Windows 7 lol

It limits your orb to save 1 result, but you can run it as many times as you want

Definitely take screenshots guys. One orb result is silly. Does the basic version give you the score or force you to submit?

Well, don't log in until you want to submit one. Until then, do it like 3DMark05 and submit/screenshot. At least that's how I'd keep a record of it.

Guys, don't run SLI with this thing unless you prep properly. See this post @ OCF. If you run SLI without prepping, you run the risk of corrupting 3DM11 and Vantage; the only way to recover (or so I've read) is going back to the previous system restore point.

:idontknow:

one of the guys has a 580 and was scoring 3550ish with a 980x at 4.5, and thought it was just getting spanked in this test. But had issues elsewhere, and it now back up to 7000 and change

Oh well, there's gotta be a lowest score... :P

Just downloaded it. First run with everyday OC. That's P3244 on my budget gaming system: Athlon II X4 @3400Mhz, 4GB DDR3 @1560Mhz, GTX460 @825/2050Mhz

Thats a fine score Dostov,& a fine system! Should be great in gaming! :metallica:

As to 3DMark11???

Do we have any set rules for scoring yet?
I mean for those using nVidia cards, do we run this bench with PhysX disabled???
Or can we submit scores with it either way???

Please let me know so I can start to compile the 1st post list!

Does it makes a difference on the score? :idontknow:

EDIT: It seems like 3DMark11 uses Bullet Physics library. Maybe Nvidia doesn't have an advantage over AMD when using this Physics engine...

Hi Dostov,

It does make a bit of a difference, you can see here in my post, I ran it with it both, disabled and enabled: http://www.theraptor...post__p__111888
With my score it was a difference of about 100 points.

& since this bench is a low scoring bench, I was thinking it may make a difference?
Not sure though?

That could make the difference between a
6990 and a 580???
But again, not sure!
