I have a couple relatively older home built systems, nothing special, c2d 775's, that I built myself a year or two ago. I played around with geekbench a little, and was surprised that my systems came up with either Unknown Unknown, or System Manufacturer, System name for the names of the system. Is there a way to change this easily?

When you load a OS, and don't give it a name, like "chimera15's PC", then it will just give itself a generic name.

You can easily rename your computers by right clicking on "My Computer">choose Properties>Click on Advanced System Properties, or/System Properties>click on the first Tab (Computer Name), and there you can rename your computer. Once you rename it, you will need to reboot.

Geekbench isn't the best in identifying any system, or clock speeds! You should be using a program like Everest, and/or CPUZ

Everest download...

CPUZ download...
