Hi I purchased a used Fatality and received it today. I'm worried about a small capacitor next to the bios chip in area marked EC22.
I haven't tried the board yet but wonder if I worry too much . I paid $41.00 and $10 ship. I have 7 days to send it back.Posted Image[/img]
Waiting for a video card to test it.

That capacitor means that others will do the same. When they go out, they cause instability issues.

They can be replaced with some soldering and another capacitor. For what you paid, I would return it.

Thanks Greybear I value your opinion and sent the board back. the seller is going to refund me full plus return shipping.
Now back to Ebay and look some more and hope for some good luck.
I don't want to spend too much for an older board. I just want to put my spare parts back to work for the kids and their games.
