Ya, but she was just to unstable to do any benching at that speed, But 490FSB, I can do a lot of benching! Must be the boards limit, cause I've been overclocking now, since 2:30am this morning!
& 490 is the best I can get, to bench with!

490 is still very good. thats a really high OC. thats just awesome in itself great job man

@492 can you squeeze out a suicide Super Pi? remember some tests you dont need to be 24 hour stable.

Ya, possible...But I only got it to boot once at 492FSB, who knows, I might get lucky and get it one more time?

These new video cards still freak me out! I've never had anything this fast!

Hell ya Joe!!!

See what insomnia does for ya!
I put up a whole new set of benchmarks, in the ""Benchmark Hall of Fame""

Check out the time of day they were posted! hysterical.gif

Ya know the only thing I hate about this board, is that once you pass 1.6vcore, it increases by .05 volts, instead of .0025v.....and pops up a stupid warning! You have made a voltage error, past 1.6v, like no shit, it set it there! Ya stupid board!

For benching, Being stable beyond running the benchmark itself, is no concern of mine! hysterical.gif

Yep.
Many times just getting it to run the benchmark without crashing is a feat in itself! metallica.gif

You got it chuck!!! beerchug.gif

During benching competitions, If I can get it to run a bench at a ridicules speeds, then I call that a successful run! hysterical.gif

If I get a BSOD, or a Freeze, then it's time for a few more volts, or a little off the FSB!

exactly metallica.gif

like in my case i can Super Pi @ 3.915

but i think i can run any of the 3dmarks @ 3.875

but for a 24 hour stable system is only @ 3.6 (during the cooler times like now)

your chip is far faster though clapping.gif

Cool!

I just downloaded version 3.1.0 OCCT stress test! With version 2.0 my 3.945GHz OC was stable at 1.360Vcore. But with the new version I found out that it was not completely stable. So all I had to do is add .008vcore and now it's completely stable at 1.368Vcore @ 3.945GHz

I've always trusted it! Since the first version came out! Then the most it would do is a dual core, and would only interface with speed fan or asus probe. I never trusted either one! But if it passed the OCCT test, it was stable 24/7! Just as good as prime if you ask me, and it seams to work the cpu harder to!

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, so take this with a grain of salt!

But I really like version 3.1.0! Has a lot more options to it!

Oh ya, plus this new version, if your running a nVidia card with PhisicX, it will stress the GPU memory with the boards memory, but thats only with nVidia cards, wont work with my cards! But hell, I don't care! My cards are fine!!! But a cool option non the less!

Check that out, 3.945GHz @ 1.368vcore, and my highest temp was 46c....That is just freaking awesome! yahoo.gif

Thats why I been saying the True Black 120 is a great cpu cooler, but this Prolimatech Mega Shadow, is just freaking unbelievable!!! Plus they cost about the same price! It's a win, win!!!

Thats why I don't worry to much about feeding this cpu some heavy duty voltage! Even at 1.5875vcore & 490FSB, it stays under 68c, and thats when running the ALU & FPU of CrystalMark's cpu test!
