The new version 7.0 knocks the multi down to stock and locks it there, in this case from 27 to 25, or from 5076MHz down to 4700MHz. Interesting, but I don't think I like it.

The old version 6.1 will change the multi to stock for the CPU tests, but it goes back up as soon as the test completes:

Too bad there is so much inconsistency between the versions. Makes me wonder about the validity of the Passmark test overall. :cursing:

Not much of a difference here! But I'm using my stock multi.
So this would effect the unlocked Extreme CPU's but not the locked versions.
